Michelle is the office manager at Montroll, Backus & Oettinger, P.C. She is responsible for client accounts, vendor relations, financial reporting, human resources, insurance, marketing, management of our staff and office technology.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Vermont and a Master’s of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the team at Montroll and Backus, Michelle consulted in Environmental Planning. Prior to achieving her Master’s degree, Michelle worked in publishing, and continues her work as an editor and proofreader on legal documents for Montroll, Backus & Oettinger. She stays active on a volunteer basis with planning projects and activities in Chittenden County.
