Evan Barquist
Bio:
Evan Barquist is a general practice litigator. He represents clients in criminal and traffic defense matters, civil litigation, and real estate litigation.
Evan grew up around the country and around the world. He left high school a year early to attend Bard College at Simon’s Rock, graduating in 2006. After a brief career in the movie industry, he ran away to attend law school. Evan graduated from New York Law School in 2010, where he was the Executive Editor of the Media Law and Policy journal. Evan moved to Vermont after graduation, where he clerked for the Chittenden County State’s Attorney's Office. Next Evan established a successful solo practice, which he maintained until joining Montroll, Oettinger & Barquist, P.C. in January 2018. Evan and his family live in Colchester with three small children and a menagerie of pets, and he’ll be more civically engaged when they let him sleep again.
