Rob Backus

As a member of Burlington Electric Department’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) Committee since January 2016, Rob participates in quasi-monthly meetings, including one on August 23, 2016. The IRP Committee is comprised of BED staff, the Electric Commission, and community members and is charged with planning for Burlington’s electrical needs.

Mark Oettinger

On August 24, 2016, Mark attended a board meeting for the Vermont Counsel on World Affairs (VCWA), which hosts delegations from around the world and organizes trips for Vermonters to foreign destinations, such as Cuba and China. VCWA also hosts presentations by U.S. and foreign ambassadors and organizes monthly international dinners.
