Rob Backus
On December 9, Rob participated in a day-long training on juvenile law in Montpelier, Vermont.
This month Rob represented clients in criminal matters in Addison County, Chittenden County and Franklin County.
Mark Oettinger
On December 1, Mark attended the opening of The Center for Woman & Enterprise at its new location in the Maltex Building in Burlington.
On December 5, Mark attended the annual Vermont Council on World Affairs, of which he is the vice chair.
On December 6, Mark attended an independent school rulemaking stakeholder meeting and public comment session at St. Johnsbury Academy and another on the same day at Burr & Burton Academy in Manchester Center.
On December 7, Mark attended the quarterly meeting for Vermont Independent Trade Alliance at the Offices for the U.S. Small Business Association in Montpelier.
On December 13, Mark testified in the Legislature at a day-long training for the Leadership Institute of the Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce.
Randy Amis
Randy became Chair of the Governance Committee for Burlington’s Intervale Center this month. He also attended the Intervale’s monthly organizational meeting and the Intervale donor appreciation party on December 5, 2016. Learn more about the Intervale Center here: http://www.intervale.org

After tabulating the firm’s annual totals, Randy concluded that the firm handled a total of $13 million in real estate transactions last year.
Randy continued to take his boat out on Lake Champlain into early December.
Hanah Kelly
On December 16, Hanah attended a brown bag presentation at the United States District Court hosted by the Office of the Public Defender, which discussed issuing subpoenas under Fed. R. Crim. P. 17(c) and cognitive based therapy, including drug treatment, which is now underway at Northwest State Correctional Facility.
Chris Norton
Chris concluded his senior fall semester. During finals, Chris presented an equity research stock pitch to Morgan Stanley in New York City.
